Hi, from the shores of Lake Erie.

New member here. I guess this is the place to start. For now, I'll try being brief. First off, please forgive my typo's and the sometimes lack of cap's...

First, a little about my better half; I've been with a wonderful gal for over 15 years. I have taken it slow with her because of bad experiences in the past. We are now well beyond the 'hidden stashes' and any worries about 'getting' caught'. She hasn't been fazed by anything, whether it was washing my panties and bras occasionally, my long hair, the hints of makeup and nailpolish, or the introduction to me wearing skirts and dresses around the house a while back.

We have a strong relationship and have weathered several storms in the past together. For example, she recently lost her father and brother in one week... In the future I hope to have her visit this site. She is going to be retired next month, I'm already there!

Now for myself; I'm in my mid 50's. I remember being attracted to female clothing as far back as 5 or 6. My earliest reading on the subject was a library book in the late 1970's, by Deborah Feinbloom. Boy, the Internet sure has changed how we explore... Been fairly active dressing the since I was 20, with the typical periods of purging and denial.

I'm lucky, in that, I not real big, I'm about 5'-10 [seem to be shrinking] and weight around 190. Lately, I have been taking weight off from a high of over 225. I hope to get down to 160 or so in the next year or so.

I have called my other self Lynn for over 35 years now. With very few exceptions, I haven't worn men's underwear in over 25 years. I have not ventured out fully dressed, but think it is just a matter of time. Since retiring a year ago I've finally been able to let my hair grow out [no more wigs].

Finally, that obligatory 'first experience' story; My first "attraction" was to my mother's clothing when I was about 5 or 6. I remember a time where I was being punished by my mom upon her discovering this "attraction", probably caught with my hands in her undies drawer. She made me wear one of her huge bra's until my dad came home, could have wrapped around me twice. I guess she thought I'd stop looking [and touching] or something. I don't really remember my dad's reaction [he probably lashed out at her for doing this to me] Instead, I remember that I found it absolutely wonderful, sitting on our couch in her wonderful bra [a white Playtex cross your heart, maybe 42D, I must have looked a sight]. I was hooked....

Lynn.

HI Lynn,

Welcome and thanks for sharing with us. Your history would describe quite a few of your sisters here in how you were introduced to this "gift."

Happy that your spouse is basically accepting of Lynn, it sure makes life a lot easier. We would love to have her join as well and perhaps get some insight for some of the other GG's / SO's that dress and go out! It is not as traumatic as you (or her) may expect. We have a saying here for those trying anything for the first time - "Baby steps, honey, just baby steps!"

We look forward to hearing more from you

OH, I was born at Wright - Pat ---------- before you were!!

Hi, Lynn, and welcome to the Forum. This native-born Wolverine admits to associating with Buckeyes on occasion, heck, quite often as Virginia is a Buckeye by birth!! :P

Your wife (SO) is more than welcome to join the Forum . . . we'd love to hear from her, too!

Hi Lynn--
This former Buckeye says, "Hi," and welcome to the forum! I came from SE Ohio, and I attempted water skiing in Lake Erie once--never got "up," from what I remember.

Very entertaining post. I'm glad your wife has found a way to support you. Also hope that you can get out in the coming year.

Thank you Virginia and all the others for the welcome, I'll work on answers to everyone later, I got this carpet guy coming in 30 minutes and I must change.... :(

Once we get the wife's laptop going at home I'll be pointing her this way. Her last day is May 2nd and I wouldn't want her risking a visit here while she is still at work.

My wife has really grown thru the last few years. It is funny some times how much.

Example, just this month we're going up to get my hair under control after letting it grow out for a year. She knows i want to grow it out but there were no real discussions of how it was getting cut. So the stylist tells her to go look at the books to look for ideas while she washes my hair. After a bit the stylist goes over to find her going thru the books of female hairdo's and NOT the males ones. The stylist tries to 'correct' her, but I hear her off in the distance saying, 'No, this is what we're after'. Funny thing was, as the stylist was finishing up she asked if she could trim my eyebrows. She trimmed down the length and actually plucked a few stray ones without saying anything... Overall a very pleasant experience, now if the same stylist does toe nails and finger nails, too... :P This is the same shop where my wife gets her hair done, so this may be fun.

Been by Wright but never visited, guess that'll be one to stop at once she's retired.
