True, they weren't notified of time and place by cell phone and it wasn't a traditional one-at-a-time-until-it's-everybody type of event. But they do go to random intersections, quietly infiltrate all of the lanes, perform together on cue. Given that it's India, I'd call that a flash mob.
Even better, as one of the traditional purveyors of blessings and good luck. they offer a blessing to anyone wearing a seat belt! (So it's also a Mitzvah - and yes, it's possible to be a Jewish Hindu. Also a Quaker Hindu, a Wiccan Hindu, an Atheist Hindu . . . It's not just a nationality, it's a religion. [And maybe a floor wax.] )
