It was only a matter of time before this would be attempted, given the state of the art in VR. Looks like the have done a pretty good job on the visual side; when other senses particularly tactile, kinetic, and equilibrium are integrated it would be truly remarkable.

This should be of intense interest to those who have wanted to visualize themselves as the opposite sex. Not so much in light of what this rudimentary demo shows, but ...

I'm thinking about the potential for more intensive and immersive "experiences" of the opposite sex's body, perceptions, viewpoints ... even eventually, maybe, modes of thought ?

Technology is in constant ferment, and answers to our curiosity about how the other sex experiences life could be at our fingertips in not too many more years.

Fascinating!
