How to speed up Firefox

The default settings when Firefox is installed is for it to be configured for a dial up connection (lowest common denominator) If you have broadband then look at these simple tweaks to noticeably speed the browser up:

Thanks Susan For some reason FireFox has been slowing down lately. So much so I'm using Chrome more than ever. If these tweaks work I might keep FireFox.
