Sometimes you got to make your self feel good or the drugery of the world can get to you. So no one minds I wanted to toot my horn here because well after my long week of work I can finaly get to writing my book again. Or at least nock off a couple pages.
So far the book I have been writing for last several years (off and on) is fianly nearing completion (or the first draft at least). I am on page 880 of a hand written work. Yes hand written long hand and I love doing that. At the same time I writting the second draft into my computer which is on page 133 (or page 491 HW). I am very proud of my writting. I get goose bumps when ever I read it.
Any ways I just wanted to toot my horn as you got to do that some times in order to make you feel better.
Jessie, perhaps I missed it and for that I apologize, but have you told us what the book is "fact or ficition." Have you written others, do you plan to publish it and what and who should we look for and I guess, what is it about? Tell us all you know!

First star to the right, then straight on 'till mornin!
Well it is Sci-Fi as is most the stories I have written. Though the other sotry I have been writting is sci-fantasy. The story I am nearing completion has a working tital as "The End"(c) I told my grandmother about the story and she finds it intersting but DOES NOT LIKE THE TITTAL.
A brief idea of what the story is about is a galatic war (no not star wars take off) and our side is loosing on nearing of extintion (not for the first time as explained in the beging of the story).
Any way the main character our hero Capation Catal Oval(c) (later a major-commander) is a Catalest(c) (think of a five foot or so cat human with a tail) commands a fighter squadron (the Second Claw(c)) and the battle the enemy up tell were there advertures take them.
That is pretty much the gest of the story. There is a lot more but I am pretty secerative of the story as I worried that I have come across some people who have there storys and characters stolden from them. I am not really worried about that here but you can understand I hope.

It is always something I need to keep me on the path to finishing this book that I started when I was in my last year of collage '98 and now I am finaly nearing the end and it '04. Not bad. It only took me 6 years. But I was writting anouther story in the middle so do all those really count.
