Shadows stretch
As twilight falls
Sun slowly sliding
Sinking down
Painting the sky
Pastel hues
Purple, orange
Yellow, red
Such magnificent beauty
I gaze westward
In awe

I spent all morning and afternoon painting, and though I'm out of practise, I am still enjoying the experience. Your poem must have been sent to remind me not to get too wrapped up in it and remember the sky.
