Need help with my screenplay about a TV-- please!

Forgive the repetition, but I just copy- pasted two different replies from a different forum. Couldn't be buggered to type it all out again. The second bit is a bit more comprehensive, more explanatory. But here it is:
I've started writing a screenplay about a girl TV. She has trouble with it, the usual prejudices, etc., but sticks with being 'boy'. She passes well, but gets bullied for being a wimp. She likes men, which makes it even more difficult (if you can't tell, this character is based on myself). One day, through some magical something (need help on this, too) she wakes up a boy.
What I'd like are some reactions to this. How would you feel if you woke up one day and magically were the opposite sex: something you've only wished for and imagined? Would the thrill wear off? Your life would be different. It'd be as if you'd been the opposite all along: were born that way, your family knew you were a boy (or girl) from the get- go. You'd have different friends, possibly different interests (sexually, and in every other area), etc.
How would you handle the stress? Would wondering if you were ever going to change back into your original self drive you crazy? Even if you didn't want to change back, would the stress of not knowing drive you mad?
What are some things you would do if you woke up being the opposite sex? Go find somebody to shag? How would you feel going out in public? Uncomfortable? Or right at home?
Would you look and general style be different? Your spouse would be a different person?
What are some other things you'd have to deal with?
Keep in mind that who you are involves every aspect of your life. Your family life would be different, you may have different friends, go to a different school, your family might have troubles they didn't before you switched, etc.
It's like he was never a girl. Like someone had gone back in time to when he was conceived and tweaked the chromosomes so he came out male. Still a lot of things to figure out. For instance, to everyone around him, it'll be like nothing's changed.
But if you think about it, it would change a lot of things. His parents were divorced. Maybe for some reason, if he'd been born a boy they wouldn't be. They'd have stayed together.
Now that he's male, Ben (that's his name) has different friends, different pets, slightly different interests...
He'll be a closet homosexual now, much like when he was a girl (he still liked men... Everyone thought he was a boy, though). So, that will torment him. Actually, I'm trying to decide whether he'll still be a transvestite. Maybe his male persona should be a straight transvestite. Any opinions on this? Should he be gay, or should he be a straight TV?
I think what will happen is that he'll wake up not knowing what's going on, whether anyone knows he was ever a girl. He'll still have all his old memories. But, as time goes by, he remembers more and more about his male life. When he meets someone, memories with them kind of flood back.
So, eventually, he'll remember all of both lives, see the flaws with both, etc.
He'll be paranoid not knowing whether he'll switch back (not that he wants to or doesn't, but he might just wake up one day and find he's a girl again, and that would be too much to handle).
I know how it ends, too, but I'm not gonna ruin the surprise.
Anyway, I'm always up for criticism and stuff. So, let me know what you think anyway...
Anything else you can think of?
Any input would be great! Thanks very much,
