Miss Higgins I would love to see some art work. Now I have to ask what style you draw in?

Hi Stephanie and Gaven,
Yes, I love to draw too. I've been doing so since about the age of seven. I mostly use pencil or pen and ink. I tend to draw science-fiction or dark fantasy subjects. Right now, I can't seem to find any of my drawings (I imagine they're in the locker somewhere). As soon as I find them, I'll try to post a few (not sure how to go about doing that, though...).
Love,
CJ

Maybe we can scan our pictures and then access them that way and post in a gallery not unlike our photo one ?
What do you think ladies?

My family is full of artists.
My sisters are excellent, they can paint, draw, sculpt...you name it. And I have my walls full of my fathers old paintings. He was so good.
I might not be as talented as the rest of my family, but I can still draw. Although I prefer writing poems, in my mother language, that is. I've never really tried writing them in english. . Too bad I don't have a scanner though.
But you other darlings, please post your art if you can.

Hi all,
Sounds like a good idea, Lefty. Perhaps even post it in our own photo gallery itself? I realize that, in order for that to work, the image musn't be in a password-protected area of a web page (which is why I've allowed public access to my album--I don't have any other web page to which people can link to my photos). I'll try it out... as soon as I can find the darn drawings!
Love,
CJ

I am trying to get the camera set up on my computer so that I can post some of my picture I doubt that I am as talented as the rest of you but I love drawing and that is all that matters. I draw mainly hidden seens like I have my name in alot of the pictures but once I'm done I even have trouble finding it.
hope this camera works

I only have a webcam as well, but I've never tried to take pictures of pictures with it. I don't think the quality would be that great, but I suppose it's better than nothing, especially if you don't have a scanner.

A web cam will at least allow you to post up a pic of your art. If you may try to talk to your mother about getting a scanner. I am sure there are some for a decent price where you live. You can always use the argument that she can then backup family photos and the like on a cd or dvd if your pc has one of those burners. If nothing else it will help you learn the PC better and may lead you to a possible job or at least a skill you could use at school.

Are there are any good places, domains, whatever where one could host his/her pictures?

Jadhe,
I have a Cannon -Cannnonscanner D1250 U2F
and it works prett good. it also has copy button so you just have to press one button to make a copy of a document or something. I like haveing seperate componties so if one breaks down I do not have to spend a lot money to repair a large item. Many scanners come on copiers now and days.

Jadhe to answer your question I am going to send you to a FAQ page for a site that does a lot of photoshop contests. They also post funny headlines.
