a colder spring nevah

I don't mind the lie,
I understand the saddness
when a voice hesitates before
it speaks.
I know the deep, wet-steam
saddness
that rusts beautiful white paper
before our eyes..
Always the dry cold beetles
discussing the brittleness
of dying trees.

Hi Tea-Cake,
Wow! That's an awesome poem!

Many, many layers of meaning; I love it. Thanks for sharing. Any more where that came from?
Love,
CJ

The Dust recalls a drier time
when sunlight could crack the bones
of anyone.
They'd lay tierd on mountainsides,
covered by crying-grass,
the ones who perfected longing
beside the purest purple flowers.

Tea-cake,
I like the poems very much. I can be very dark sometimes. I feel like you have had your share of pain. Don't go there. There are plenty of friends
here!
Hope and kisses,
Kersten
Thanks

Thanks Kersten...I'll try. I know for a fact no one is supposed to feel like this. Today seems really hard. My mind and body and everything else says ENOUGH! but my heart ends up fluttering with some-kind-of powerful sad...I'm trying...I think I'm wired wrong. Thanks for the kind words and the pure thoughts.---Tea cake
