Sat. a.m., 9/11/04, after a good night of sleep. Happy birthday to Marlena Ashley. Gotta have breakfast, get around to drive an hour to my mom's to be with her, and baby sit my very young and active grandniece and grandnephew while my sis and her daughter-in-law go shopping. Ah well, trapped between the old and the toothless and the young and the restless.

about 100 yards from the back of where I live, trains run from 6am til 2am.
on the road right outside where I live, buses run from 5.30am til 1 am.
and people wonder why I get grouchy through lack of sleep...
