Farmer and his three daughters.

So this farmer has three daughters who are all now of dating age. He greets all of the suitors at the door with his shotgun. Not to threaten them, but just to let them know he's the boss. One night they are all going out ont the same night. A rare occurance. The guy arrives at the door and says, Hi I'm Joe, I'm here for Flo, we're going to the show, is she ready to go. The farmer wishes them well and they go. The second guy arrives at the and says, Hi I'm Eddie, I'm here to get Betty, we're going for spagetti, is she ready. The farmer wishes them well and they go. The third guy arrives at the door and says, Hi I'm Chuck, and the farmer shoots him on the spot.
Just what did the farmer have against Chuck and his pick-up?
