Sweet Revenge

He was the most unpleasant complaining patient in the hospital and the nurses were absolutely fed up with him and hated having to tend to his whinging and whining.
The head nurse was the only one who would stand up to him, so one afternoon she walked up to his bed and anounced it was time to take his temperature. After his complaining died down the nurse said, " No, today we can't take you temperature orally, we have to get a reading from the other end."
With this his complaining went up to a new level. After it died down he rolled over and bared his bottom, after which he felt her insert the thermometer. She then said she had to go get something and for him not to shift or change his position. On her way out she left the ward door open and he started to feel uncomfortable and curse under his breath as his bottom was exposed and he could hear people walking along the corridor and he could also hear little sniggers and laughs.
Just then his doctor walked in and said, " Hello, hello, hello, what's going on in here."
The angry patient snapped, " What's the matter doc, where have you been all your life, haven't you ever seen someone getting their temperature taken anally."
The Doc replied, " Well yes, but never with a carnation."
