Hi all - I'm Back!

Hi All - I’m back.

We had a great trip - three weeks across the Atlantic and in Barcelona. Started with a luxury cruise (Oceania line) of 12 days from Miami to Barcelona. There was a brief stop in Madeira - just long enough to take a boat tour with dolphins. Then 6 days in Barcelona. Fantastic food, from the ever present Tapas to superb Mediterranean shellfish and fish. The Picasso and Joan Miro museums were truly spectacular, as was the Aquarium. The famous Rambla with its mimes was itself worth hours of entertainment. The city itself is a model of prosperity, with young people dominating - standard costume for all: t-shirt and jeans.

I guess it was all the distractions, but I had no interest or urge to dress. Returned home - and still no need. I’m sure the desire will be back, but meantime I’ll review my wonderful memories of this trip. Especially the ubiquitous “Pa amb tomaquet” (Catalan bread with tomato, oil and garlic).

Heh. Glad you both had a good time. Glad to have you back.

Next stop for you and the Missus: Montreal... if you're here in September, you might get to meet our good miss Gracie.

Sounds like a really great trip!!! Glad you had a great time!!!! Cruises can be so much fun and there always seems to be something to do!!!!!

Welcome back, hon! SL and I are so looking forward to our next trip May 1 to the Sunshine state. We both love warm weather and since we are going to meet one of our sisters from here and her SO, after I win the Nationals, we are going to have a ball!!!!!

Hi Lydia,

I two am so happy you had a wonderful trip, but no boats for me every again. Went to and from Korea on a boat and promised myself NEVER again will I go on a boat anywhere.
