OK here's the safest way to do fireworks, go nuts, but turn the volume down if you have a doggie :lol:

I just got back from a July 4th in the Adirondacks with my sisters in law.

The small town there had a nice fireworks display despite the intermittent rain. It cleared up for the duration of the show.

At home here in Buffalo, NY fireworks are illegal without a permit, but it's not that far to Pennsylvania where they are legal for people who want to buy some.
