Just too busy

Post by KathrynCamfield »

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to know why you see so little of me.

You girls are great but I am just to damned busy to post on ANY forum but Facebook and Twitter and Google+

I am in the last few months of writing my eleventh book.
I teach other seniors like myself ballroom dancing two days a week.
I am active in transgendered rights causes and have a pride parade coming up soon.
I just got a new computer and am trying to learn Windows 8 and 8.1.
My son is about to get his Phd and I gotta visit Los Angeles for that.
My wife is getting cataract surgery soon and my cat has decided she is going to be a queen. (The cat, not Cindy.)

So, please forgive me for joining and absenting myself.

Hi Kathryn--
It's fun to hear about your life, and your activities. Congratulations to your son, on getting his PhD! And I hope your wife does well with the cataract surgery. My dad came through it fine, and he was probably in his 80s at the time.

Hi Kathryn,
-wel- to the forum, you seem to have a very busy and rewarding life, I have windows 8 and tried 8.1 some time ago, absolutely useless. I did manage eventually to return to windows 8 but had to return the computer to the condition when bought.
I wish you the best of luck with it. Enjoy your time with us even if it is restricted.
Hugs

Welcome Kathryn.

If and when any of you master windows 8or 8.1 please share your success with me as I am completely lost. (not really computer literate.).

Not to implies any of you ladies are dummies, but the Dummy series books are a good start. Windows 8 isn't supposed to be much different from Windows 7 so if any of your friends have a 7 book; good enough to get your started.

Now I'm wondering if your troubles are Windows 8 or the Office ribbon.....

Oh, and hi Kathryn. I vote dropping Facebook or Twitter. Haven't you heard they are addictive? We want to be your addiction :) Maybe you can be a little less busy with us.

I cancelled my facebook account, because I don't really feel like I can control my information there.

I like my Facebook. I keep it to educate all the liberals-progressives (aka KoolAde drinkers) and it annoys the hell out of them . . . Team Work!

The education process is working, and several are finally waking up to see what's really going on in this country . . . and it's about damn time, too, because we're heading towards a repeat of 1776. -,,-
