Well to be honest I still use a 56k, Everbody talks about speed I have no problems. Sometimes I think that the server is the cause I use Earthlink and have no complaints, been with them about 15 years. (--) Carol Ann

I'd give Earthink a big thumbs up too . . . any shortcoming they have is easily made up by their great customer service.


another note: a landline's bps rate is often limited by your phone company's equipment . . . thus 19,000 - 21,500 is what I often get around here EVEN with a 56k modem. (hence the big ET-contacting thing on my roof)
