My musical taste has quite a wide range
I'm 53, played guitar from age 12 (pre-Beatles) until arthritis got too bad a few years ago, played in a few high school/college groups, also the occaisional coffe house solo in late 60s - early 70's. Also College DJ and music reviewer, took college music appreciation courses, sang in church choir for a few years in the 80s.

In the early 70s, one college concert I attended was 3 bands, including pre-Stevie Fleetwood Mac, Savoy Brown, and Long John Baldry. I liked all of their perfomances about equally well.
One thing the blues revival did was inspire me to seek out the original recordings, and I generally like the original versions better - they were the foundation for the revivalists.
