Can someone help me out? I have tried many times to get my pic up as an avatar, but with no success. A get a message that states it must be (I think) 70 pixels by 70 pixels. How does one get a pic resized to 70 x 70?

You can resize it in Photoshop, or any photo editing program. If you don't have anything like that, simply e-mail the pic to me and I'll be happy to resize it for you.

      One minor point is that the current rules on profiles state that, “Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 90 pixels, the height no greater than 90 pixels, and the file size no more than 12 KB.”  Although a 70 × 70 pixel photo is permited, a 90 × 90 pixel photo also is permitted and would entail a smaller reduction from the original size. The 12 KB size really is not a problem at the upper limit. For instance, my photo on this forum is 90 × 90 pixels and is only 2087 bytes (approximately 2 KB).
