Nags Head

Post by DonnaT »

We've never been, and are planning a trip to Nags Head next holiday.

Anyone been? Have any suggestions for hotels?

Well, I did get my passport in the mail yesterday ;)

But, no, this Nags Head is within driving distance to North Carolina.

Nags Head is sort of a laid back adult vacation place. I have been there several times, and then, there was not much there as like Myrtle Beach. There are a couple of fishing piers. If you up to travelling drive south to Cape Hatteras and that area. Take the ferries if you have time, they use to be free. There are some "head boats" that go out and that can be fun.
I know of two golf courses and there may be more now. Also check out Kill Devil Hill and the Wright Brothers' museum.

It is more of a place to just relax. Oh, there are a couple of movie theaters and you can drive north to Duck, not much to see but you can always say you have been to Duck.

Let us know what you do!

Love,

Virginia
