Another furry friend passes

I had to have Lucky put to sleep today of all days. He had cancer of the jaw and could no loinger eat, groom or meow without pain. He was a good kitty and friend of 11 years and will be missed. I'll add his photo to my gallery along with Dolly who passed 2 weeks ago.

Awww...poor kitty. One of our kitties seems to be feeling ill. I need to take her to the vet.

It seems especially hard around this time of year, like when we lost our Aussie.

My wife and I were reminiscing recently about the dogs, cats, and horses which have left us over the years. We've said goodbye to 2 horses, 3 dogs, and one of our cats in the last 6 years. Contrary to any thinking that it gets easier the more one does it, we still miss each and every one of our departed friends. We have purchased a commemorative plaque for each one and plan to affix a picture of each to their respective plaque. We'll have quite a welcoming group when our time comes along to cross the Rainbow Bridge.
