Hey Everyone . . .

Did you know that tomorrow, on Sunday, August 4, 2013 this Forum will be celebrating it's 10-year Anniversary by beginning Year #11??

Yes, today is the last day of year #10, and what a milestone we have accomplished!! It certainly doesn't seem like it's been 10 years already - I've been here almost 8 years myself - and while there have been many changes throughout the years as we've 'grown up', some things that will never change are all the friendships, love, care and support that everyone in this cyber family has for each other!

When Sharon aka GalicianGirl(SO) and her CD, Shannon, started this forum they had no idea what was going to happen but they did know that they wanted to create a warm, welcoming home where everyone was welcomed and supported, especially the spouses and partners of CDs.

Like any family unit we have grown over the years, we have created friendships and some have even found love here. We have had members come, and go, and some who have passed away. We have had our ups and downs, our highs and lows, our jokes and, yes, sometimes even our squabbles. But the best part is we are all still family. We all love and care for each other, we support each other . . . and that's what life is all about!

The forum has seen a variety of Moderators and/or Administrators over the years and we appreciate their volunteer service . . . and to the best of my knowledge they are - past and present - as follows: Anita, Beauty {aka Gracie}, Caith, Celia, CJ, Curly(SO), DonnaT, Elizabeth, Eureka, GalicianGirl(SO) {fka Sharon(SO)}, Jadeanne, Kimberly Kael, KimberlyS, Kyra, Leeza, Michelle Miller, Shannon, SilverLady(SO), Stephanie W and Susan. If I missed anyone I do apologize!!

Unfortunately, we have had some members who passed away over the years, too, and to the best of my knowledge they are: Elayne (01/02/2009); JenniferMu.(GG) (12/2007); Rachel Ann (04/2007); Sally (02/2010); and Terry Gal (08/20/2004). If anyone knows of any other members to be added to this list please let me know their name and approximate date of death so we may create a memorial for them in the In Loving Memory section.

On behalf of all the Moderators, Administrators, and Forum Owners, I would like to extend a huge Thank You to everyone here . . . this forum could not have made it without the help of everyone, and may we have another 10 years together!

Happy 10th.

I remember the 5th anniversary. I had only been here about 5 months at the time, but was sure glad for this forum and still am.

I want to thank the owners, Admin and mods for the job they do to keep this a safe place.

This is a good place.

Ten years - how time flies. Dec. 26 with be my tenth here - if I forget that on the day after Christmas . . . well, at least I'm remembering it now.

This is a place that matters to people. You only have to look at the girls who turn up after months - or even years off. It seems to me that, even when people aren't posting, they still care about it.

I think a lot of what's valuable in this place is kind of between the lines and in the stuff that doesn't get said.

Indeed it is! For me its I guess its sorta like 'her' school that she never had? I mean.. I come here every day and mingle with my peers, I get an education sometimes, and learn social skills at others. It also makes a great playground Hahaha.

Wow - 10 years young! I've only been kicking about for just over a year (already!) and I must say that this is probably the calmest and least confrontational place in the cyber-ness. Ok, it's not the busiest either but I think that's a very good thing indeed - I'm not keen on mad-busy places anyway.

I'm glad I found this forum, and am please that there were others that had enough vision ten years ago to make it happen. I love this place!

Congratulations and THANK YOU! to all who have contributed to this safe, friendly, and nurturing place. I am grateful to you all for your generosity with your skills and time. This has been a reassuring and welcoming place and I feel it has enriched my life over the past few years. Happy Anniversary!

I've found much of myself here, and know that others have been greatly helped too.

I remember coming here when the place was new. Heard on a different forum about this one starting up. There was only a few members here the first time I came. There was not much information here either so I was a bit unsure about joining in. So I was in and out for a few months checking it out to see if it would do anything. It kind of took off so I finally joined. WOW it has been that long ago.
