For those of you that may not know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. My mother had breast cancer as one of ex sister in laws, both losing a breast to it. Those are just two or the women I personally know who have been touched by this possible killer. I am certain everyone here knows at least one person who has been affected by this.

With that said I strongly encourage any GG or for that matter any transsexual with breasts over the age of 40 to have a mammogram. I also hope all of you with wives, sisters, SO's etc. to encourage themnto make sure this an annual event.

When I learned my mother had breast cancer aI was just shy of my 33rd birthday. I scheduled and had my first mammogram very shortly after hearing the news. I have had one every year since and will continue to do so. Please do this people for early detection is the best defense we have. We lose enough of our sisters to this disease every year so we need to take every step we can to avoid yet another loved one becoming a statistic.

Yes great advise and well said. I am expecting my Endo to refer me to one this December when he told me previously he will check on the girls. I am one year on HRT, including progesterone, which can cause breast cancer.
