A sad day for the loss of Walter Becker of Steely Dan

Post by Lacey Hadley »

For anyone who is familiar with the great 1970's-'80's popular band 'Steely Dan'  saw the loss of one of its influential member, Walter Becker :crying:

Steely Dan for me is one of the most important popular bands of my era growing up into adolescence and adulthood. Their style of music and lyrics often sent listeners on a musical journey... SAD DAY, RIP Mr. Becker . :crying:

Sadly many of the bands we grew up around that time period are either passing away, no longer singing, or should not be singing anymore. The few that can sing well are too old to do too much. OH does that mean we are getting old also?

Darn it! And here I thought my ever growing forehead was because my brain was getting bigger.

Seriously, though, so many of the good ones never made it out of their twenties, it isn't much of a surprise any more.
