I have been wondering for a while what to put as my avatar.. i just can't decide.. soo im asking for hlep as i dont have a photo of myself what i can use..

The other questions is why you chose the pic you have as your avatar..

In fact, out of all the avatars I've seen, yours is one of my faves. You've got your adorable daughter with you...

I looked through some of my favorite web sites, and found an image I liked.

Then cropped it and resized it to get it down to the proper size.

Mine was a gift from Lorna.

What I liked about it is the color of the dress is also part of the scenery. As though I were emerging from something else into who I am.

In my case, it's just a photo of myself that I think captures something about who I am as a person. Yes, the pic is "enhanced" slightly (colours and tone, mostly). This is it about avatars; regardless of the image you choose (yourself or something else), it's fun when some of the "flavour" of who you are comes through.

well i have a pic of me now but i used a pic called the wired witch its the cyber image of my favorite singer Sita (dutch pop singer)
I also have it tatooed on my lower right arm

My first avatar here was Bagpuss, then pics of me, and now back to Bagpuss. Why Bagpuss (UK childrens' TV character)? Well apart from the fact that he is the greatest, and a cat, every episode ended like this -

Even Bagpuss himself once he was asleep was just an old, saggy cloth cat.
Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.
But Emily loved him.

I am just curious, what prevents you from seeing geocities sites? I think that you have mentioned this before. I work tech support and I am sure many of the other girls here are very knowledgeable about PCs. We might be able to help you out. PM me if you are intrested or start a thread in off topic if the admins will allow it.
