Ginny's photo does not allow comments - Answered

Hers seems to be the only one of the new additions that's not showing a comment box.

In her album properties, she has "No" for the value "Visitors can post comments".
I believe if this is changed to "Yes", then comments will be allowed.

Thanks, Caith. I had never noticed the "opt out" choice for that function, and I didn't know we had it on this site.

We've always had the comment 'opt out' option for the gallery, and the same goes for the 'rating' option; only a few of our members have ever chosen to opt-out for either or both of these features.

Youtube has a disclaimer on some videos: "Adding comments has been disabled for this video." Given the unmoderated nature of Youtube, that can be a wise decision over there, especially when presenting something like a band with two "pretend" girls in the lineup.

In reality, we never got any really nasty comments thrown at us. (Or else they were deleted in some way.) There was some that were borderline, and they were marked as 'spam' and covered over.
