How to disguise my broad shoulders

I have recently shared my CD desires to my wife and, luckily for me, she is kind of excited about it. She's encouraged me to buy shoes, stockings, dresses; etc.
While we have played around, wearing high heels and stockings or putting on make up (did that once) I have yet to put it all together.
A few nights ago she had me try on the dress I had bought for myself. Strange as it may be, I spend a fair amount of time at the gym which does not lend itself to my fantasy. I have very broad shoulders, a V shaped back and fairly large biceps so, needless to say, there's not much chance that I would ever be able to pass as a woman.
Back to the dress; when I put it on it fit great and felt wonderful but, I looked like a football player in a dress. For those of you with broad shoulders, how to you pick clothing that minimizes them?

Please don't suggest a shawl or anything like that; being new to this I am excited to wear sexy clothing and have no interest in dressing like an old lady.

A common problem for many CD's, especially for those that work out. My husband was a gymnast and his occupation is a bit of a workout every day. She wears larger forms. long sleeves and a looser fitting blouse.
You and she are close in height and weight. Dresses don't seem to fit right, she wears separates. More versatile and blends in public better.

You are new and want to dress all sexy like any teenage girl would. You and your dear wife might get more satisfaction when you dress your age. Mature women can look damn hot, we just leave the slutty look to younger gals.

A scarf is a fun accessory to add color and hide a thick neck.

You want to draw the eye away from the shoulders. Like pad up your rear and hips, bigger boobs etc. You can also use clothing that draws the eye down. In general you want to create balance in your look - then the shoulders don't pop out so much. Often this sort of thing can be art as much as science.
