I need more concrete because of my breasts.

Or rather, because of my new ones. My mailbox has been getting a bit loose lately...ok, maybe that's not as descriptive as I need to be. A good gust of wind would send this thing down faster than a thai hooker. Lucky me the post office doesn't deliver hurricanes & tornadoes via priority mail.

Anyhowsit, I had to order new forms about a week ago, one of my old ones had torn, and to be honest, I was a bit tired of them, they didn't have nipples or colored aureoles...

So the new ones get here this morning, and my mailbox is leaning over at a precarious angle...folks, I'm talking serious listing to port, enough to send sailors over the side, 50's action movie style, but luckily, it stayed nearly upright long enough for me to get out to it and right it.

So now, thanks to my new size 14's, my mailbox needs new concrete around it's post. Home Depot, here I come.

There is another way to fix your mailbox. At Home depot and Lowes they have a mailbox stake. It wraps around the wooden post and you drive it into the ground. Then screw the stake to the post. Easier and faster than concrete.

Well, just as long as you're not leaning over when you wear your forms!

If you have a wooden post, don't use concrete. Sooner or later water will get into the wood behind the concrete and rot the wood. JoAnn's suggestion is a good one.

Or set the post on a gravel base and use a patio base to fill in the hole around the post. Use a 2X4 to compact the base as you are filling the hole. This will let the water drain properly and keep your post from rotting out. Make it easier to fix, too, should the occasion arise.
