It's true. I grew up as a transvestite, went through years hating myself and trying to be soooo masculine, finally made the transition to living fulltime as an ordinary woman, but I just love wearing little girl clothes.

You must know I'm kidding, I personnely like the 50-60s housewife look, now that's sick. Doing dishes in highheels and pearls is way wierd.

Well, it seems like we end up trying to make up for 'lost time,' because we didn't grow up as girls. So we go back and try to recreate what we missed. I still try to be a hot sixteen year old at times--how futile is that? But I still do it, and I have fun, anyway.

So you're just going back a little further than I am.

LOL...don't let any of the girls fool you...everyone has a "special" dress or outfit. Heck..who do you think buys all those cute maid outfits? Certainly not something to wear to a meeting or in public.....but, beats kicking the dog Enjoy without worry..we luv ya (by the way...I think thats on page 32, paragraph b, of the CD manual.....required outfits)

My "femme" style could be best described as "nice girl with a hippie accent."
I graduated high school in 1969, and still like the way "nice girls" dressed back then.
So my basic CD style is an adult/grown up version of that.
But along with the peter pan collar blouse, box pleat plaid skirt, and chunky mary janes or saddle oxfords I'll also be sporting a peace sign pendant. And a semi- hippie length long-ish wig.
Or... I'll have on a peasant blouse and denim skirt with a cute "bob" style wig. (and the peace sign pendant).
I go to protests dressed as a high school style cheerleader (1960's- 1980's-- no bare midriffs)-- always liked that cheerleader look-- young, healthy, cute/perky.
Never got to go out with a cheerleader back in the day, but now I'm having a lot of fun with that look.
Never did the "little girl" look, though I do like those knee length "party dresses" with the bows.
Anyhow, we all have styles we like for whatever reasons.
I've gotta admit that the "school girl" look works for me and that's great because I really do like it.
And mixing that up with a little hippie influence is fantastic!

Petticoats Ya Maryjanes with heels of course Ya, Betcha can't guess where I'm from

and the gals have the most wonderful dresses. They flare out and look so feminine. I remember them from the fifties and sixties and just adore them. I used to want to wear dresses like that when I was younger. Wished I could find some like that. And what makes them stay flared out ? Yes I also like the idea of dresses heels and pearls to do housework like June Cleaver. As my freind always says. "Ward weren't you knid of hard on the Beaver last night?"

I have an unbelievably strong attraction to hyper-feminine "little girl" things, so I love seeing this thread. Those are the most frilly things I have seen in a long time. My problem is no where to wear it.

Found shirt dresses as close to the 50's style as possible. Flares out nice from the waist down. I wear them around the house while doing housework, very comfortable to work in. Denum jumpers are nice when doing dirty work on the floor etc.

Yes sweetie, you need help. Then again, so do we all.

I like petticoats, have several, and often wear one or more under my dresses/skirts.
