My wife told me today that we now have a new category of clothing. Neither hers nor mine but ours. It consists primarily of my fleece vests which she loves to wear, our mutual warm wool socks, my flannel shirts, some sweats, and my halloween bra which I gave her and she really likes. (except for the last they are all perfectly unisex) Perhaps some tee shirts will make it into the collection this spring.

My CDing is pretty much don't ask don't tell and she was clear that this category will not extend to lingerie and the like.

But it's a nice feeling. It reminds me of when we were dating and how we often wore each others clothing the next morning after an unplanned night together. I was thinner then and a lot more of her clothes fit me.

SL and I have a closet full of "ours!" It is so neat that when we go shopping some of the pieces that we pick out we both agree on. Mostly skirts but we have a few purses and tops.

Our rule is whoever decides on "it" first gets to wear it. We did get lucky on one of our favorite mini-skirts, we found another just like it so we went from ours to hers and mine!

Jewelery is another area that we agree on -first come first served!

Such fun!!!!!

In our case the only thing that is "our" is my stockings, she is always into them. Not to worry about cloths as we a different sizes. =D>

Ab,
What a great opportunity. Now you have the ability to slip in a few things like a slip, panties, bras and pantyhose that would fit you both into the "we" drawer. Not all at once but one at a time over the weeks or months. The "we drawer" is a big step forward for her. Good luck

I guess the "mine", is really "ours". She takes a dress out when she has a whim for something different. The stretch dresses fit boyh of us equally

Most of the clothing in our closets are "ours".

The only things that don't fit both of us is shoes (my feet are larger and I have cuter ones anyway :) ) and pantyhose (her legs are a lot shorter and I don't want to stretch them out - I prefer gartered stockings anyway). If her pantyhose starts going, than she gives them to me.

My wife usually dresses casually, with dress/top & skirt/pantyhose reserved for church or special occasions. When it's a real dressy occasion, a lot of times she wears something of mine.

I am glad for you. I has to be a great feeling when she told you that. My wife just recently accepted my CDing and now has gone shopping with me (I was in drab). This last weekend she told me that I could hang some of my outfits in our walkin closet, so I did not have to go back and forth between the bathroom and the other closet when I get dressed for my Tri-Ess meetings. So now I have dresses, skirts, skort, blouses, tops, and heels on my side of the walkin closet.

I have gotten some hand me downs from my wife also. I have said she can wear things of mine she likes but she has not taken a large advantage of that yet. Just a few things. Well other than one purse she asked to use and has yet to give up over a year now. LOL. I leave her things alone. Nothing that we "share". We could easily share tops and some bottoms. But maybe in time but I am not pushing for it. I will wait for it to come from her if she ever gets to that comfort level.
