Anyone into Leotards?
Hi everyone. I just found out that I really really wanna be seen in a leotard. Just found something that also offers them in my size, what do you think?
Cheers Lolita

I had one for a while, to work out in.
I don't know where it disappeared to.

I had one with matching tights. It was back in a phase; not a bad phase.... just a phase. Obviously from the looks of the ones you're interested in, I can see why you want one.
I say go for it.

Yep had one "back in the day" to work out and train in, now I'm too old and too fat for lycra ~ enjoy while you can

Re: Anyone into Leotards?
well if I had the figure of those girls I would wear one too
I could never make that work, by itself. But I think it can be a cute look as the bottom layer, paired with the right skirt or something. You could wear one instead of leggings with a sleeveless tunic or shirtdress maybe. Otherwise you're kind of restricted to wearing it at the gym.

Actually Wesley, you can find a body shirt if you search carefully.
As for the leotards, they are dancewear and so look for them there. I had a phase when I wore a leotard and matching tights. That look on this body now would scare even me.

They are/were actually called 'body suits' - shirts in various styles with snaps at the crotch (think of it as a 'onesie' for women) - and yes, you can occasionally find them but they are 'out of style' right now. I love them and used to have quite a collection; unfortunately, I got rid of them when I moved to FL years ago and now I wish that I had kept them.
I've seen a few at GW Boutique (aka Goodwill) in the past week or so, but that was a rare event and they were not in my size. Dang it all!
If you seriously want a body suit then the best place to find them would be stores or web sites that cater to dancers, skaters and the like.

Davita,
That makes two of us. . . the idea of my extra pounds in a leotard and tights. .. well, if fashion law were ever enforced, I would face a lifetime sentence without hope of parole. . ..
But I still enjoy ballet flats in public, and soft bloch ballet shoes at home!

I have a couple leotards, long sleeve, short sleeve, racer back, thong, even a metallic red with a matching skirt. Also some body suits and one piece bathing suits. You can say I like them.

Re: Anyone into Leotards?
I really like leotards and just recently bought one online and I am looking forward to it arriving so I can wear it around the house. I really want to buy a body suit that is shiny or silk or a nice unitard as well. I don't like some of the unitards out there because they are unisex and I don't want to have one that is black or white, I want a shiny bright one or pink or very femme.

Oh Good Lord! I could never wear those, maybe in grade school. If you have the body for them, go for it, Lolita.
These are made for performers in dance, skaters, or gymnasts. Fit and skinny girls, not overweight, overbusted, mature women. They do look pretty though.
