I know it seems like a mixed message for a crossdresser, but I love Boyfriend Shirts! I just love the un-tucked shirt with skinny jeans. Love it with short cut off jeans and cowboy boots also! Plaids, solids they are all very cool. It is something about that look that I really like. Right before Halloween one of the lady morning show disc jockeys in our city was sharing cheap creative homemade costumes, and she suggested oversized white button down (with short shorts of course) and white socks. Go as Tom Cruise in Risky Business. I think she was suggesting that for GG. That has got to be the classic "boyfriend" look! I wear that all the time to bed and around the house.
Does anybody else like that look?

Re: Boyfriends Shirts!
The idea of a woman wearing her boyfriend's shirt is sexually suggestive, as in 'something' happened last night and she has nothing else to wear for breakfast. The alluring aspect of wearing your BF's shirt is smelling his scent and recalling the evening just past.
At least that was a standard movie scene in decades past, so I'm told.
Now, BF shirts are merely casual wear sold in women's wear. I prefer T shirts for around the house and longer ones for sleeping. Few button type shirts fit a full figured gal.
What are these 'skinny jeans' you speak of, LeeAnne?

Re: Boyfriends Shirts!
The idea of "boyfriend" shirts, and jeans, like boyshorts, and also the womens style of business clothing called menswear has fascinated me for some time. Well the menswear business clothing makes sense from the standpoint of wanting to look powerful and authoritative in a severe and smartly tailored suit.
Like Eileen explained, it is all very sexually suggestive, like wearing your lovers clothes is a level of intimacy beyond normal. You see that also in the high school girl wearing her boyfriends letter jacket, and to some extent in the "his and hers" matching sweaters or whatever.
Myself, I have no interest in the boyfriend shirts or jeans, but I'd love it if there was a girlfriend dress! 'Course I'd have to get a girlfriend for that to make sense
