Nails
There's something about nails I don't understand. When I look at fashion magazines or watch television programs where the characters are fashion conscious, short nice nails seem to be the rule and that's what I have as my personal style. Yet, when I'm out and about what do I see? GG's with loong nails, French manicure or reverse French manicure. Maybe it's where I live (Atlanta) or where I live in Atlanta (tends to be middle to middle lower). If anyone has any thoughts, they would be appreciated.

It's not just Atlanta. I see it here in Charlotte too, and most other places I've visited. Here I see a lot of French manicures, and a lot of those variations, with the pink inners and red, black or coral tips. I also see lots of metallics and jewel tones.
One thing that peeves me is girls who spend lots of money on their nails, then skimp on the rest. They dress like trash, but their nails look like a million dollars.

Yeah, like that.I know it is wrong, but I do not care. I feel like the prettiest girl in the whole development.

You're exactly right. The amount of attention and money spent on nails sometimes seem out of proportion to the rest of the look. One thing where I live, there seems to be a nail salon on every corner
