Re: Bra fittings
I have never been fitted and seriously doubt I ever will. That would be way too personal for me. Trial & error makes me a 44aa. A bra that size is very hard to find. I really don't want a large cup bra and prefer to be my natural self wearing a small size cup bra. At my age I do have some "old person" fat for breasts so an aa cup fits fine. My wife has had to alter bras to allow them to fit me better but I would like to find a store that sold small cup bras for large chested people. Any suggestions are welcome please!

For a 44AA bra try Herroom.com or search eBay or just do a general internet search for 44aa bra.

Re: Bra fittings
If you find one let me know. Best I have ever seen was a while back and I bought it (42almost A)
I cant find the company any more. Probably not enough CDs around to keep making them.

Re: Bra fittings
Can I ask what may be a really stupid question? This may be the wrong thread to bring this up, but it has been mentioned more than once. I truly understand the desire to wear a bra for the CD. The band and shoulder straps are unlike any male clothing. I really get the concept of wearing a bra with proper forms to look and feel like a woman.
Those that have the A or AA cup size, I'm sorry if I sound judgmental. As an ample woman with a CD husband with plenty up top, I thought all guys viewed women through breast size.
The stupid question is, is a A or AA cup bra fulfill the feminine desires? Just wondering.

Re: Bra fittings
I expect the focus is to fill the bra "naturally" rather than with forms as they do not simulate the actual need to wear a bra.
I feel pretty, oh so pretty

Re: Bra fittings
With regards to Eileen's comment about size. I feel that to emulate the feminine figure for me I would want to be a B cup at least. I do not feel that one needs to be a D or larger to emulate a female physique. As long as you have breasts and are well displayed. It is the passable aspect of what we are trying to accomplish ( I belive ). I am a 44 chest mesurement and am comfortable with my B cup forms as well as my C cup forms, both sets are very different is style but give the same end effect, with a good bra on and clothing to go with it. I prefer moderate to over abundance. this is of course my opinion only. I do love wearing my bra even without forms attached. and still wanting to get fitted for a bra but have not done it yet, I am getting the neve up. I just need the spare time.
Hugs,
Erica

Re: Bra fittings
Thanks, Jessi and Erica.
Certainly, I know breast size does not make a woman. In this discussion, it's more about wearing the garment than chest projection. Not to get too far off the topic of bra fittings though, I had to ask for further perspective. Getting back on topic track, a proper bra fit is more than band and cup size. A simple fabric tape measure should get you a decent idea of size to buy, ignoring all the variances of different manufacturers.
Adjusting the straps seems to be a challenge for both GG's and CD's. One girl at our local food store wears her bra so low, I wonder why she bothers to put it on. A few members of our CD meetings wear the 'girls' very high. It doesn't look natural at all.
Whether AA or DD, buy bras that fit right and makes you feel good about yourself.

Re: Bra fittings
While taking a solo vacation, I stopped at a Soma store along the way. As there were no customers, I struggled to get up the courage to ask for a fitting, but then a 1/2 dozen women came in and I chickened out. Hopefully some day....

Re: Bra fittings
Joan, yes the first time asking is a struggle. What helped me is I decided that I would just walk in the store and ask the first sales person for help and tell them what I needed. So just walk in and say can you help me, I would like to get a bra fitting. When would be a good time to get it done.
Good luck and You Can Do it !!!

Re: Bra fittings
Today, Andrea went for her bra fitting. It was a wonderful experience and something I will remember for the rest of my life. I went there and was warmly greeted by a SA. I then asked for my bra fitting and we spent about 30 minutes deciding on what kind of bra would work best. I am a 44c and decided on a nice satin and lace bra that's absolutely beautiful. Feels really nice when worn with my forms. The sales staff were very cordial and friendly. This is a turning point in my life now. I can shop with confidence for my femme things. Thanks to you all for supporting me.

Re: Bra fittings
To be totally honest I am scared shitless to go get a bra fitting though I might look online and see if I can email them and tell them my situation and that I am transgender and see how that goes and then work up the nerve and just go do it, I just don't want to walk into a store and say I am here for a bra fitting and they look at me like I am a moron, I want to have some descrition when I do it but the thought is always there. Just have to get over the fear!

Re: Bra fittings
Sandy we have all been at the "scared shitless" point of time. It is an ok thing. But when / if you are ready to do it between your ears, you will do it. Each of us is different as a CDer and has different wants and needs along with different personal things to deal with. Be yourself and if you want encouragement we are here to help.

Re: Bra fittings
i read somewhere you should be fitted once a year. Guess it stuck with me because I try to go every spring and be checked for my proper size. Sadly it had not changed in a long time or maybe it is happily. I may not be getting any bigger but I am not getting any smaller either.
