My favourite colour is black. I would say the majority of things I own are black although I'm also fond of red so theres some of that too.
I wear mascara and eyeliner when going goth, sometimes drawn in large patterns dow my face, or when I'm femme for my partner or ease. I don't wear eyemakeup when i wear my boy shirts but i do wear a little mascare on my eyebrows to make them darker and thicker & more masculine.
But yeah picturering my wadrobe think black mainly & too much leather

reminded me of shortly after my wife and I got married. When we were dateing she woulld often wear a short tight leather skirt. We were getting ready to go out after we were married and she went to put that skirt on. I told her no, It had caught one guy and that was enough.

Phpt. You may well have meant your comment in jest, but the desire to control someone else's behavior - especially a woman's - is far too common to go without comment. Do you appreciate it when she tells you what you cannot wear? It seems a wee bit hypocritical coming from a member of the cross-dressing community. I would hope that we could appreciate someone wanting to wear something because it makes them feel good about themselves, and have a little faith in our own partners' intent in doing so.

It was not a desire to control behavior as a special shared sentiment.

There's a big difference between requiring someone to dress a certain way (employers do this but they give us money) and asking. Sounds like Leeza was more asking.

I didn't mean to derail the thread so much as point out that this does go on and it's something we should be especially sensitive about. An observer could see it as playful banter or not. The two people involved could also read into it differently, in part because from a purely literal standpoint you can't read "I told her no" as a request. It's a command.

... but I'm more than willing to take Leeza at her word. I just wanted to call out the potential for misinterpretation.
