For all of you tall girls that would like to try thigh hi stockings
I suggest Hanes Silk Reflections silky sheer thigh highs size EF with reinforced toe,
They are long enough to stay up. Easy to pick up a pair in a Hanes outlet.
While you are there, if you hang around the bra or panty section for a while
the SAs will probably help you select a bra and let you try them on if you ask

I just cut legs off panty hose, fold the tops over (inside out) and run a zig-zag stitch all around on the free arm of my Singer while stretching along the stitch with both hands, and snap them into the garters on my vintage corsets. Works fine.

I like Sarah Ann's solution. I have two garter belts but finding nylon hose in my size difficult. This just might be a solution.
