bracelets for larger wrists

Post by Shelby »

Where do you ladies find bracelets to fit our larger wrists? My wife has bought me some of the inexpensive, stretchy kind but, I would like something a little nicer.

My wife makes mine. We used to have a bead store and my wife made jewelry and taught customers how to make their own, still does.

Many places sell bracelets for larger wrists. The general rule of thumb for a woman's bracelet is 7 to maybe at best 7 1/2" in length but I have seen bracelets in several places that state they are 8 to even one I saw that was 9" in length. Cathy Ann made an excellent suggestion in making your own if you are so inclined, that way you can make it to the exact length you desire. Another possibility is to visit local craft shows, people who make custom jewelry seem to abound at those. Maybe talk to one or a few and see if they are willing to make you bracelets to fit your need and taste. Sure a few bucks more than your local Wally World but you get exactly what you want.
