Maybe a stupid question, but I am not a pofessional GG.
Which goes on first? Panties or pantyhose? Or does one dispense with panties when wearing a "control top" pantyhose?

Ahh I've seen this one before I think its personal taste rather than a right or wrong thing really?

For me, its ahem....Knickers first, always!...then tights over the top. I just like it that way

Panties go under pantyhose and tights but over a garter and stockings is what i've always heard.

Wear some hold-up stockings, no problems with them x

Pantyhose is just that, Panty plus hose. Wearing the panty build with the hose gives no VPL and provides a nice smooth look from the tip of the toes to the top of the waist band.

That said I personally wear a panty under pantyhose with a girdle over it all. Guess you could say I sign, seal, and lock me in.

If I have to wear PH (don't like them) I wear panties outside the hoses.

well, for this girl, it's just pantyhose, you can skip the panties regardless of how pretty they are.

I didn't know it was possible for a CD'er to not love pantyhose

its simple, no panties.
or if you insist on them then they go underneath.

if its control top definatly no panties
if its not control top then maybe panties sometimes

I love pantyhose any way they can be worn...
unless its too hot to wear them but i still love them just dont wear them as long before taking off due to being too hot

I like to wear my panties under my pantyhose and then my panty girdle over my pantyhose. Even though I wear control top hose, I still like wearing a panty girdle.

There is no one "right" way to wear pantyhose this is the way that works for me

Not much of a pantyhose girl, guess I like the comfort of bare legs and it helps me fit in with women of my generation. If I wear pantyhose generally I wear panties under them and my padded girdle over them.

When I wear pantyhose whch isn`t very often, I prefer thigh highs, I never wear panties with them. I always wear control tops and if I am going out I pull on a padded panty over them although I skip that if I am just going to stay home. Funny thing is that if I wear tights I always wear panties with them even though they have the same cotton crotch pantyhose does. Don`t ask me why I do it that way, I just do.

Giggle... I was just reading a similar discussion on Readdit and this was the most interesting answer I've ever seen to this age old (well at least since the invention of pantyhose) question:

"Yes, because if I'm ever arrested, they will take my pantyhose, but they will not take my underpants. I do not want to be in a jail cell with no underpants. It's that simple.
The likelihood of my being arrested is fairly low, but I think it's best to be prepared."

For me I come down on the side of personal hygiene and practicality... so I usually wear panties under the hose. I can usually just lightly rinse the pantyhose out and hang them out to dry rater than a full wash to keep them fresh. They seem to last longer that way.

On the other hand... If I wearing a really tight dress or skirt and I don't want a panty line, I'll go without or a thong.

I wear control top pantyhose..If I have to wear pantyhose...
I don't wear panties because it makes the pantyhose slip down and it loses the snugness of panties
and I believe that's why they call it pantyhose.. it serves both purposes.
