Colors for blue and red skirts

Just wondering what colors should go with either blue or red skirts?

A white or cream/tan top should go with both. A lot really depends on the exact color and shade and also type of the skirt. If blue jean skirt a lot will usually go with that. Are they solid colors or a print or mix of colors. Usually really hard to try and match a solid blue or red colors. If a tank or under shirt is close in color can some times layer it under something else.
