Molly prayers

This is the hardest post I have ever had to write. I am sedated so bear with me. Molly contracted influenza A (flu). She was rushed to the best children's Hospital in Vermont. They had to put her on a ventilator and all sorts of tubes etc. Wayne and I stayed with her until the end. Molly gave a geat and valliant fight but could not win. The respirator had done too much damage to her little lungs. They had to have her on it to keep the oxygen going through her blood and to her precious organs. This morning we were told that we needed to make a decision of when not if. I threw out my breast milk that i had pumped and Wayne knew I was getting as prepared as possible. We took hand prints for her memory box and I put one on my scrub shirt (I intend to put all the kiddos handprints on there also and ours to frame). I sat in Wayne's lap and we both held her until the end. Thank you for all of the best wishes when she was born 2 weeks ago. We have a new angel among us.

Lisa,

There are no words that I can give you to comfort you, just know that you are being held in the warmth and friendship of us all on the forum.

Lisa and Elayne,

I am so sorry, that is devastating news. As Jess said, there are no words, just wish there was. You are in my thoughts and heart also.

With love,
Curly.

Lisa,
My heart and prayers are with you both. My wife and I have been there, we lost our first child to SIDS 24 years ago. There is no worse event in life, nothing more important, nothing that you will remember like this. All I can offer is that you will feel better after a while. Take your time, hold each other tight. And as someone told us, she will always be your little angel watching over you.

With a warm hug,
Rikki

One so small. Lisa and Elayne, I'll keep you in my prayers.
God bless you both.

Sincerely,

There are no words that will make you feel 100% as it is a great loss for you. Not being a parent I can't even begin to imagine what this feels like. Sorry for your loss and know we are here for you.
