We have had several members wonder why there appears to be someone in the chat room but when they enter the chat room, there is no one there.
The reason is because the member that was in the chat room did not log out properly and their name shows up as if they are still there. 
Here is the correct way to log out:
Click on the X in the upper right hand corner of the chat room; that will bring up a login box. Then click on the X in the upper right corner of that box, which will close the window. You will notice that your name is now gone from the 'Who's Chatting' list on the main Index page.
