A night at the Opera(etta)

This past Friday I had a girl's night out with three GG friends. We had dinner before we went to Wolf Trap. We saw The Mikado. Thank goodness it was not so hot and the humidity was down. To know more, visit http://www.wolftrap.org. It was a wonderful show and we girls got a bit over dressed and had a great evening out celebrating one of the girl's B-day. I recommend not wear stilettos because of the walk to and from the parking. However, it was the shoes that got us better seats. I was talking with the usher at our box seats while the others made a potty run at intermission. We talked about my height, how the shoes were bad but great looking etc. I had mentioned the waste of money buying the seats and then not coming. When the girls got back, the usher told us to go ahead and take the better seats because no one would be coming by that time.

Always good to be friendly and open.

Yep, long walk in heels, but nice to hear it was worth it.

I would imagine that WolfTrap has changed a bit since I last went. We would take a blanket, a cooler with some wine and cheese and just enjoy the shows!

Bet you can't do that now!?
