Out and about en-femme.

Post by Cindy Louise »

My wife flew out Friday to spend the weekend with her father as he's not too well at the moment which meant after seeing her off I spent the whole weekend en-femme from Friday afternoon to Monday

With my en-femme time very infrequent I went the whole hog to enjoy myself . After about two hours of makeup, nails, earrings, rings etc and choosing a wig I settled on my “business suit” which is a navy above knee skirt, white blouse and navy jacket with 3” high pumps. I chose my older brown long straight haired wig as I wanted to see what it felt like to have long hair in 90 degree weather once that was styled and a quick check in the mirror grab my purse and bag and I was ready to venture out in the daylight.

I almost ran down the steps to the car in fear my neighbour would see me. Then I was off out in the world en-femme, what a rush! I lit a cigarette and put the window down it was then I regretted not bringing a hair tie or barrette to keep my hair out of my face. My first stop was to mail a letter I decided to park a short distance from the mailbox and walk there and back. There were a few people around but I don't think anyone noticed me. After getting back to the car I checked my make up as I was sweating buckets now I know what long hair and 90 degrees feels like...everything looked okay. I tried a quick French braid but that didn't look too good so I left my hair down.

My wife and I have a favourite coffee shop where the staff know us. I figured if I could get a coffee from them without any strange looks or comments I would be okay. Sitting at the lights my heart was racing part of me wanted to run home and hide while Cindy wanted to be out in the world. Cindy won. Again I parked a fair distance from the store and after taking off the jacket and throwing my bag over my shoulder I started for the store. There were plenty of people in the store but I joined the queue and ordered my coffee, I think it was the sheer volume of customers that helped me out. I grabbed the drink and headed for the door and one of the tables outside but as I reached the door an elderly gentleman was on the other side and opened the door for me...”OH GOD I'm dead” I thought. I smiled at him and said “well thank you sir” I don't think he even noticed the British accent he smiled back and replied “you're welcome” and we went on our way.

Finding a table as far from the door as I could I sat down to watch the world go by with a cigarette and my coffee. I know this might sound strange but as I looked at my reflection in the windows and my raven red nails and the slight lipstick stain on the coffee lid I felt “at home” or “at ease with my life” something I don't feel when Cindy is hidden away.

After an uneventful ride home I collapsed on the bed exhausted. I went out later that night to get gas but this time I wore jeans, T shirt and sandals. The rest of the weekend was spent en-femme just lazing around the house.

Sorry for the long post but I just had to share.

Love to all,
Cindy.

That's a little shining star that can illuminate this whole journey from time to time.

Thanks ladies I had a real blast I hope to repeat the outing some time again soon. On Sunday I didn't even get dressed after showering and applying some light makeup and my wig I dressed in my bra with forms, panties, nightie and robe to just chill out as Cindy.

Lunchtime my wife called and I wonder what she would have said if it was a video phone. I didn't remove my earring when I answered the phone she asked what the scratching sound was on the line I said it must be her end...it was my earring :)

Huge love to all,
CL

I am glad you had a great time out. I go out en-fem all the time and just love it. I know the feeling you described. I too seem to feel at ease or normal when en-fem. Hope you had a great weekend.
