all day in tight Rago

Ladies,

At work yesterday I under dressed in hosiery and my black, long line Rago panty girdle. This one is tight and boned and does not roll and oh-so-very constrictive. It takes getting used to, but I enjoy the feelings. Of course, my figure looks military, and the downside are bathroom breaks. Hot weather is coming soon, so I am taking advantage of the opportunity. I have quite a girdle collection, this is one of my favorites, but I also like Custom Maid: lighter weight, and very strong.

Just from wearing control top hose, I don't think I could manage a girdle.

I just got my new Rago OBG very firm, I love it as Carol doesn't have a beer belly with it. BUT the down side is going to the bathroom, got to work on that

Yes, bathroom needs are a "challenge"--but worth it!

I cut a hole in mine. It wasn't a rago but something else. it made things so much easier.

don't have a Rago, but various other shapewear the is similar. With the ones that are all bound up tight I always get them with snaps or hooks beneath. Makes the bathroom problem go away.

I wear a Rago 1294 OBG every evening and all day most Sundays. Even though it is tight I find it very comfortable and never dress without a girdle. I have some vintage girdles that are even tighter and I can wear those as well. I love my girdles.

I have to agree with Jane here, the vintage girdles are definitely firmer than today's. I have a couple of older pantie girdles from the 60's I bought a while back off E-Bay and they are much more constricting than any of my more modern ones. I haven't worn an OBG in years, maybe I should try one again now that I am more mature. Any suggestions on where t find good one?

It has been some time since Bobbie posted anything on the forum but since this subject is near and dear to my heart, I thought that I would put in my opinion.

Rago makes some of the best girdles available today. I would venture a guess that roberta has at least 30-40 different girdles in the collection ranging from high waist long leg styles (with and without zippers) to high waist briefs, to all in one styles both in OBG and panty styles. Because of a muffin top and a "poochie" tummy issue, Roberta' will always wear a high waist girdle and long line bra...why ...because it just feels right and this is what mother wore many many years ago. Too much shapewear ... maybe...but this is what works for Bobbie R.

Many vintage styles are also available on the internet (ebay etc) such as Subtract, Poirette, Custom Maid, Playtex (both 18 hour and ICBIAG, Exquisit Form, Miracle Suit, Warners, JCP and Sears, and the holy grail of girdles (at least according to Bobbie R) is the Cupid Duotrol high waist long leg panty (available with and without a zipper)....4" high waist band, triple tummy panels, double tush and hip panels and a split crotch for convenience....extremely difficult to get into but once its on, the firmness and control are supurb but the girdle is oh so comfortable considering the degree of control...comfortable enough to be worn for long hours...great when worn with a pencil skirt or sheath dress (with a long line bra)...unfortunatly its been out of production for many years....a rare find on ebay.

Anyway, those are my thoughts.....ladies...comments???

There is something about getting dressed and slipping into one's girdle and bra....the feeling is wonderful. The initial tightness goes away after 15-20 minutes or so and the smooth and sleek feeling remains all day....a slightly conscious firm feeling and the results are spectacular....its no wonder real GGs (who wear a girdle and long line bra) like the feeling...the results will speak for themselves. Ther is something Roberta notices, and perhaps other girdle wearers do as well, is the flabby feeling on experiences after taking off the controlling bra and girdle after an all day and evening outing. Do real GGs feel the same flabby feeling??

Anyway...count Roberta "in" as a girdle and bra person...there is no other feeling quite like wearing a "good" high waist long leg girdle and long line bra all day....comments ???

I have a few Rago's, and love each one. Two are long line with the high waist,
One in whith and one in black. I also have the pantie type with the high waist.
You are correct, the feeling while wearing them is great.

I have to look this up, sounds like it's good to buy. I bought one girdle which is mostly the top, so it doesn't cover all of the lower part of the stomach, and it also gets very warm after a while wearing it.
