Third night: right choice

Hi girls,

Well I pulled an all-nighter Friday but I still intended to go to Connecticut Saturday for Triangles party. I was getting ready to leave in afternoon. I started to put on my makeup when I asked my wife to check weather Sunday for Danbury Connecticut. She did and said it was supposed to start snowing early (like at 8 A.M.). I knew that from going out the last two nights that there was no way I could drive to Connecticut, go to party and get up bright and early and leave back for home. As much as I would like to have gone, I decided it was best to not go as much as I wanted to see my TG friends.

I then ended up taking bus to NYC and at least salvaged an evening. At least if snow came, bus driver would fight it and not me.

I wore outfit that I was going to wear to Triangles. it was a gray sweater dress, black tights, gray/black pep toe pumps and a red belt with black/red purse. I took subway to Brooklyn again (like night before). I had a good time but left little bit earlier than usual (about 2:30) to get subway and catch my 3:55 A.M. bus. As the bus got back to NJ, it started to snow. My car was covered with a little snow. As I was driving home from park 'n ride, my car went into a slight skid. Luckily there was no one on road and I didn't hit anything. It was at that time that I kind of knew I made right choice. Good thing I brought a pink scarf/gloves as it was so cold! I would not have liked driving for 2 hours in those conditions. I hope my TG sisters that went to Connecticut make it home safely.

Glad your Ok Steffie. I don't like driving in the snow much anymore myself. Lovely pics as usual. I wish I had a bus service to get around sometimes.
