Shopping questions and comments - Macy's and Lane Bryant

Hello: Never entered a LANE BRYANT store, but was curious too see what they have, so I checked their web site-- actually there are two -- one has the word "catalog" in it.
Most of the stuff was too dressy for me, but on the "sale' page was a cute puff sleeve shirt dress that looked it was made from denim. I called the toll free number, ordered two of the dresses and I'm pleased to report that LB's size 18 fit me perfectly. The only problem was the "Y" neck. Have to cover up that open space with a scarf or necklace. I'd been looking for a dress in that style since I'd seen photos of similar ones in an English magazine, and the "neck" problem can be solved easily.
OLD NAVY has good prices, particularly on "sale" items. I've bought some great stuff there, including pleated skirts, sweaters, jackets, and even boots!
There is a MACY'S in a shopping center not far from here. (two METRO stops). I've bought a few things there, but find the place generally overwhelming. The store is laid out in a grid pattern and takes up a lot of space on one level. One of the things I like about GAP and OLD NAVY is that their stores are generally small enough that you can see everything easily.
I just wish I could find clothing that was "made in the USA." But that's another subject for another time.

I have shopped both Femme and drab at Layne Bryant.

I have tried on clothes in both personas, and have been treated very well by the sales personnel, in many of their stores.

I usually try to visit at least one or more of their stores when I am on Vacation, and have had good luck finding some nice things at reasonable prices
