Tonight I'm walking around the block

I finally did it!
Well tonight I finally made it out and all the way around the block plus a short trail by my house. It was so exciting! The warm weather made me want to stay out for a while but as usual I was nervous until I was safe at home. I may go out again later tonight.

I'll echo what Dee Dee said about ensuring your safety. Nothing is more important than that. I know the thrill can be such a rush, as it was for me when I started doing exactly what you are doing now. Enjoy it but try not to let it overcome common sense. If you remain careful, then you get to do this again...and again.....and again....gaining more confidence as you go. Best of luck and now you're on your way, you'll find there's no turning back.

I echo Stephanie W and DeeDee comments. Safety is important and ensuring that you are in well lit areas at night. It will ensure your safety and also prohvide confidence that you will need to "go shopping"
