Easy To Remove Lipstick

Post by Sarah L. »

Hello.
I bought a big make-up kit(my first one). This included lipstick.I couldn't wait to try it.Then it didn't want to come off! I had to work the next day!
I finally used some petroleum jelly(not sure why it was in the house). After much trouble,I was able to get rid of enough of the lipstick that I could go to work. There was still a trace of it,but not enough to notice unless you looked close.
I am looking for some lipstick that will come off fairly easily and quickly.
Can someone suggest a brand and style that will fit my needs?
Thanks,
Sarah L

Most any brand will come off easy. Just use makeup remover or baby oil.

You might want to stay way from red reds, however. Some will stain the lips. Some are meant to stain, some are just very cheap.

I don't blot my lipstick and it wipes off with a tissue, then a warm wash cloth and I am finished. I have 4 or 5 different brands and no trouble removing it yet. (--)

LOL Women want lippy that doesn't come off so easily, as shown by advertising for "long wearing" and "10 hour lipstick. In my experience, just go eat something, like pizza or pasta. That takes it off like sandpaper stripping a wood finish!! Hmmmm, maybe some smart cd is missing the boat for a new business: Easy, fast to remove cosmetics?

Seriously, buy some pre-moistened make up wipes. Those work, and they don't leave a bad residue to taste on your lips, and make you face feel softer too. Neutrogena and Dove brands are found in the Oklahoma area, and I am sure nationwide. And they are quick. Keep a small pack in your purse for make up emergencies, if you go out.

In the past I always was afraid of "leftover" makeup the next day at work. Thats an overblown concern once you try things. A simple face wash removes most...use a clean towel to see what comes off..til nothing does. I use a lip primer before my lipstick (old grizzled gal here) and it all comes off fine. As Donna mentioned, baby oil works great!!!!! And its a lot cheaper than makeup remover. Good luck, but try baby oil.

Thanks for all of the advice.I bought some baby oil.My lipstick came in a kit that I bought at JC Penny. It says it is made by "Beauty Basics".I don't know if that is a name brand or not.I've never heard of them.
