I was inspired by Stef's excursion of last week. I found a similar pink blouse at WalMart, and a pair of stretch Lee Rider jeans. That was going to be it, but I was browsing the clearance racks and I found a dress that I love. It's covered in a black and red print, with a round neck and short sleeves. It hangs to just above the knees, and the fiber content includes 2% Lycra, so it clings in all the right places. I think it'll look nice with the shoes I picked up last week. Now if only it would warm back up. Then I could see about wearing it out.

Yesterday I went to CVS and bought two tubes of L'Oreal lipstick, one in Cinnamon Toast, the other in Brazil Nut. Both are sort of reddish brown.

The male clerk at the register called me "Mam" when he opened the additional line to ring up my sale. That was nice. After that we made a bit of small talk.

The lipstick colors suit my complexion more than true reds or pinks. I bought a new wig on Tuesday and the salesclerk there suggested I try a different shade of lipstick

Yesterday, I went to the ULTA store and picked up some OPI prducts:

A lip liner

"ChipSkip" supposed to make the polish adhere better and remain chip free.

"Drip Dry" lacquer drying drops to dry polished nails to the touch in 60 sec. and complete the drying in 5 min. Their French Nail kit calls for this product and the ShipSkip.

A spray bottle of "Rapid Dry', supposed to dry nails to the touch in 45 seconds. Wanted to test it to see if it spread the polish when sprayed. Just did one hand just now (OPI's "Pink-ing of you" nail laquer) and it worked great. Now for the other hand.

The RapidDry says wait 45 sec. to spray on, the Drip Dry says wait 60 sec.

And finally, a bottle of "Avojuice skin quencher" Have been using the peach flavor and it works great. My wife bought it for me and commented on how soft my hads were the other night at dinner. This one is pear flavor.

Hi all,

Today was cold and snowy, but then I received 2 things I ordered from a square dance store - a pink childs petticoat, just right for a maid's outfit and should layer just great with my other 2, plus a pair of pettipants - white but with tiers of lace in the following alternating colors - mint green, light blue, pink, and yellow.

They brightened my day, and my wife thinks they look cute!

Back to WalMart this morning, in search of a VCR. I didn't find one, but I did get this cute chemise nightgown. It's red, with spaghetti straps. There's black lace around the hem and neckline, and the word "love" is written all over it in colored script. It was very comfy to sleep in, too.

Well, I did it! My GF and I went shopping today and I got to buy a pair of Arizona HipHugger jeans size 1 and only paid $14.99! I tried on a size 3 but just a bit to big in the waist. They didn't have any 2's in stock but I fit in the 1's and they look great and I have a butt too! I LOVE them!!!! We then went the Wal-Mart and bought me some hipster panties to go with them.

BTW: if I wanted the jeans she wanted a pair for herself too. And I must say I really like the look of them on her! Thy make her rear look..........well, all I can say is OH MY! =P~

Just a couple days ago, I went to the thrift store and bought a very nice pink Undercover Wear robe/lingerie. The robe is lengthy, it goes right down to my feet. I also bought a one piece neon green Speedo swimsuit.

I then went to a department store and bought a gloria vanderbilt control pantie, and in another department store I almost bought a very sexy bodyshaper (black), the only thing stopping me was the price.

I guess I know what I'm saving up for now.

Well... I got my bonus today so I SPLURGED!!!

$400 in "Macys Money" goes a long way with all the winter stuff on clearance & all the Valentines Day sales & President's Day sales & Customer Appreciation sales... I spoiled myself quite nicely today. @@9@@

I picked up a long black winter coat (the bubble coats you see everywhere now) a black leather jacket (It was originally $200, I paid $40), a couple of pairs of jeans, a couple of tops & blouses, a Guess watch & some sterling silver earrings!

And I also got a Nike winter coat for Rick too... and I still have $150 left!!

You'd be AMAZED at the deals you can find on clearance racks! Out with the winter line, in with the spring... Now is the BEST time to buy winter coats! =D>

Lorna,

Congratulations on your bargains! That's the way to shop!

On Thursday, A package from One Hanes Place arrived, and it was NY sales tax free because I placed the online order on time.

I bought 2 new Bali bras for my wife (future gifts for her that she will let me borrow after she wears them once) and for myself a silky leopard print microfiber chemise - a web-only special price - the black, white or beige was regular price. It's really nice and I wore it to bed. My wife tried it on and she might borrow it sometime.

Tomorrow I'm giving my wife a box of her favorite locally made sugarless chocolates and one other item. Now I'm trying to decide between a pair of pink pierced earrings (I also bought myself the identical ones with clips and haven't worn them yet) or the pink Bali cotton double support bra that I just got for her. Decisions, decisions!

Hi all,

I bought me a pair of white ladies shoes, sort of a loafer type, with an open toe and a heal strap, I did not try them on in the store, and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought them second hand like new, and no shoe has ever fit me better.

They just do not make men's shoes that fit like this. they were on at half price and along with a gift certificate they cost me exactly $0.00

Love Darlene.

Darlene,

Congratulations on getting a really nice pair of shoes for free!

Today, my wife and I exchanged one Valentines Day gift each early.

I gave her a pair of pink rose pierced earrings and she loved them. She gave me a pair of Avenue satin briefs in leopard print. I'm wearing them now and they feel great!

Hi all,

Well, CJ the Thrift Queen strikes again (although Darlene's price is hard to beat :-k ). Yesterday, I just came back from a week out in the country. While there, I stocked up on sundry undies--there are lots of thrift shops in the town near where my father lives. When I came back, early yesterday afternoon, I stopped by my own local thrift stores and picked up a couple pairs of heels. The three body briefers are new but were discarded as "irregulars" (I've tried all of them on and I've yet to find fault with any of them--I paid CN $3 for all three). The "Il Bolero" shoes normally go for around CN $90 ("Il Bolero" is a well-known local fetish gear boutique).

The shoes:

Shopping can be so much fun, regardless if it's done at the department store or at a thrift shop.

Love,
CJ
