Addicted to shopping?
Hello all: Well, there is a part of me which thinks I've spent WAY too much money on "femme" stuff. Why do I do this, etc etc... I should be spending $ on more... er... worth while (?) things...
It's taken me ten years to figure out my CD style, which is a mix of "nice girl," "preppie," and a little bit of "hippie." But I've made an awful lot of "fashion mistakes" on the way and those mistakes are costly.
But there's no question that wearing femme clothing and developing one's style is an educational process. It takes time.
One thing that I have noticed is that if a certain item fits well and looks good, I often order/buy it in several colors. Is that wasteful? Signs of addiction? Choices are hard to make sometimes. Or just the nature of femme clothing. Sometimes I wonder how the gg's cope with all the choices.
I've also discovered that I'll see an item that is sort of what I'm looking for, and I'll buy that. But later, something much closer to what I really wanted appears. I'll buy that, but am also stuck with the first one.
There is no question that I have more "femme" clothing than I'll ever wear, I'm not 24/7. (and during the heat of summer, weeks will go by without any "dressing").
So... not sure where I'm heading with this, except to say-- not sure.
Sorry if this seems like a disjointed ramble, but I think the main ideas get through.
Hope everyone's having a great summer!
Peace-- Kendra Lynn ("hippie cheerleader").

Wait a minute Girls!
Hi Ladies
Get a grip people. Life is an addiction. We are all addicted to our own selves whatever that may be. Good or bad. If it's just buying skirts and heels consider yourself lucky. It could be crack or heroin. Go with flow ladies and don't look back. Hugs.
Love

Hmmm, I would have to say addition, though I only buy clothing on sale. Seems not a week goes by without my buying something, or planning on how I am going to get something.
This week:
1. eyeliner
2. eye brow brush
3. dress
4. 2x bras
5. 2 blouses
6. 2 pr sandals.
My SO was with me for most of it. We went to Younkers and they had a take 70% off already reduced costs. We figured it out, 1200.00 in clothing and we spent 209.00!
Will have to wait till next week for my next bit of shopping. Seems never ending.

It seems like a weekend does not go by that I don't end up with an item or two. We were out Saturday and stopped at a Dollar Store. While browsing, my wife see some tops on a sale rack. We look thru these and she finds two tops that look like they will fit me. They are on sale for $9 each. Without even asking, my wife buys them for me.
we like to go to garage sales and estate sales. You can find some great bargans that way. We found one garage sale that had pant suits and skirt suits on sale for $1 each in my size. Now that is a bargain. LOL
