Hi all,
I'm in girl mode for the first time in quite a while, almost 2 weeks since my picture session.
I'm wearing a thrift store find, a light blue paisley print Leslie Fay double breasted jacket with the ruffles from my white camisole peeking thru and matching pleated skirt with my white petticoat underneath. The buttons are goldtone with fake pearl centers. The paisley print is mostly white with a little gray. My rht nylons are beige, and I'm wearing my tan knee high boots.
My jewelry is a small enamel butterfly on a short chain, dangly goldtone and crystal dangly earrings that my loving wife loaned me (they are in clip adaptors). On each wrist I have a stretch bracelet, one silvertone with 8 cat charms, on the other a silvertone, blue, and red bracelet with 3 star charms and one heart shaped starts and stripes charm. My wig is strawberry blonde updo in Brussels style.
Underneath, a white longline bra, a new shaper that's basically a high waisted panty girdle with shoulder straps (no garters). My white garter belt is holding up my stockings.
What are you wearing?

Gals boots and height
Many of you may think me strange, but hey I already know I am and so does my wife.
I am wearing a pair of boots made by London Underground. I picked them up at a second hand store in the men's footwear area because I was in need of replacing my wore out workboots.. I did not have my glasses on when I got them so I could not see the size on the bottom, so I just tried them on, they looked and felt ok and i got them.
Well upon getting them home and doing some cleaning and polishing I noticed they were a size 9 and I normally wear a size 8 mens. Well after clean up I tried them on again and they did not feel like a size 9. Then it hit me, they were 9 gals. Well I said this to my wife, and she said they look ok, wear them. So I am and even for every day wear because they cleaned up so well.
Well on to my subject, the first day I wore them I felt a bit strange when I first had them on and got up. Well I did not think much of it. But I also noticed things were different when walking. Then just the other day it hit me. My past man work boots did not have much of a heel to them, basic flat boots near the groud. These boots have about a 1 1/2 inch heel and a 1 inch sole on them. I know it is not much, but from a 1/4-1/2 sole/heel to 1 1/2 in heel is different for me. Now I understand why some gals make a big deal out of feeling taller. It does feel different and this is only and extra 1 inch.

Cuddle duds long john bottoms with a front hook bra. It seems to fit better than a lot of back hook ones for some reason. Slip, black cami, long blue skirt and new brown semi transparent long sleeve casual top with grey fleece vest over. I guess the top is a bit light to go with the feel of the outfit but I was quite comfy. Winter sandals with thermal socks

Cute outfit, no make-up
Good morning all: just sitting here in front of the computer wearing a soft white long sleeved sweater ("LUXELON" brand), grey/blue kilt style skirt (GAP), pink corduroy jacket ("jean jacket" shape) (GAP), brown-ish shoes that are a cross between "mary janes" and sandals (PAY LESS), bob style dark wig. no make-up, no tights.. Just wanted to see how the ensemble looked and try to figure out if I want to order one or two more jackets in this style in different colors ("camel" or "blue"). Yep-- I'll say it again-- GAP's preppy with a little flash styles work well for me-- ironic since I'm hippie-greenie inside. I really do find it relaxing (calming?) to "dress" even without the make-up and knowing no photos will be taken. Anyone else feel that way? Happy belated Valentine's Day to one and all!!
Peace'n'Luv-- Kendra Lynn.

Jeans, long johns, an orange teeshirt with a gray long sleeve wool/cotton blend over it. Warm socks and winter sandals. All guy clothes today but I thought why not enjoy them too?
Actually my wife and kids are home all week on vacation which means no getting dressed up. I'm really enjoying them and also finding that it is nice not to have in the back of my mind always listening for a car door in the driveway or something similar. Very relaxing. But...it's a beautiful windy cold day with lots of sun and the sunshine made me think how nice it would be to be out in the back (it would need to be a lot warmer) in just my favorite black slip and panties. Oh well.................

At the computer...
Hello all: Here in the D.C. area it's been really windy and cold, so the opportuntities for comfortable "dressing" have been limited recently-- particularly since I'm a pedestrian and mass transit user who does not drive. But I wanted to at least see how (some of) my recent outfits look and feel, so right now, while sitting in front of the computer working on music articles, I'm wearing: brown-ish shoulder length wig, dark pink (fuchsia?) ribbed long sleeve turtleneck, slightly above the knee box pleat black skirt, black belt, white socks, brown heavy "mary janes." ("Modelista" is the shoes brand name-- I got these at either a vintage store or consignment shop, so no idea where to find more ("Google" search?) A little lipstick. Peace sign pendant, small hoop earrings (clip ons). Hey... one of the advantages of being a free lance music journalist e-mailing copy in to editors-- they're not going to see how I'm dressed while working!!
